“Very professional company to deal with. The chimney on the house we bought recently was leaking. Owner came out and looked at it and gave us an estimate. Had to delay starting the job for a few weeks due to weather. Once started the job took 2 days to complete. Crew (Austin, Cam, Hobson, and Dave) showed up on time both days. Very polite and friendly. Completed the job and clean up efficiently. Price was exactly what the estimate had stated and has a 7 year warranty against leaks. Highly recommend this company and will use them for any future chimney needs.”

“Miami Valley Chimney did an excellent job of rebuilding the top half of my fireplace chimney. The crew was very professional and did a very good job. Cam and Austin even stayed until late in the evening to ensure that the job was accomplished in a timely manner. the crew cleaned up at the completion of the project and removed all of the debris from the work area. Before they left they even repaired several shingles on my roof to save my from having to go on my roof to repair them myself. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs chimney repair or replacement.”

“Our chimney in Beavercreek, built in the 1930's, was crumbling and had no metal pipe from the chimney to the furnace pipe at the basement wall. Miami Valley Chimney was very competitive on pricing and did a fantastic job replacing most everything from the roof up, and installing a stainless steep pipe to the cellar. Looks great, very pleased with the job and the experience working with them.”

“Highly recommend Miami Valley Chimney. Our chimney is on an outside wall and it needed to be replaced from the foundation up, 3 sides below the roofline and 4 sides above the roofline. The team is very professional, show pride in their work and treat the customer with respect. Great communication. The work was extensive- a 5 day job - they were here everyday, all day. We got 3 proposals and Jeremy gave us the most detailed proposal so we knew exactly what needed to be done. As far as dealing with a contractor and his team, this was a very good experience. The chimney looks fantastic!”

“Our daughter had recommended Miami Valley Chimney to us, and we are so very pleased with the outcome. Jeremy was accommodating and polite at our first meeting. He had to do a bit of detective work to figure out why water was leaking into our fireplace. Within a few weeks Miami Valley Chimney set up scaffolding, removed and discarded the chase cover, furnished and installed a stainless chase cover with storm collar, removed siding and replaced roofing and flashing, furnished and installed new trim boards, and painted the trim boards. In order to get started on the job, they had to remove a lot of items such as a storage bin, trash cans, sandbox.. and then replace all the items after - everything was put neatly back in place. We found both Jeremy and Chris to be friendly, professional, hard-working, competent, and helpful. And with the recent hard rains in our area we are happy to note that we have had no leaking in our fireplace and no additional water stains on our bedroom wall.”

“When Dave came out to give me a estimate on work, he immediately identified the areas of poor work as being done by a certain company and he was correct. He told me to fix it right was an entire re-build unfortunately and while that is not what I wanted to hear, I decided to get it done. During the four day rebuild, the workers cleaned up daily. The work was covered during the progress to protect from rain until completed. I feel really good about the completed chimney. Dave even told me about a re-sealing process that should be done periodically to keep it from weather decay. I would recommend MV Chimney very highly.”

“Miami Valley Chimney re-lined and repaired a flashing leak that was damaging plaster in the second floor of my cape cod style home 04/18/17. While certainly not inexpensive, the quality of the repair was excellent (I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer, so feel qualified to judge). They showed up when they said they would, and explained what they would be doing each step of the way. Communication was excellent, and the crew was very friendly and respectful. The shingle match for my gray roof was very good, with the new shingles woven in to the existing roof so that the repair is barely visible. The flashing was fit into grooves cut into the brick, to ensure the water would flow over, and not behind. A water and ice membrane was also installed underneath the flashing. Finally, they did an excellent job of cleaning up. There was no trace they were even here once they left.”
